“We’re the result of a Midwest life and death story; an unadulterated reflection of our surroundings. And we want people to feel that in our music.” The St. Louis alternative rock band says.
Since the bands inception in 2013 they have relentlessly toured throughout the United States bringing with them their explosive performances and dynamic style. The music takes you in. You can feel right where it’s coming from. This has enabled them to garner solid reception wherever they take the stage.
Over the past few years the band has shared the stage with genre staples such as I the Mighty, No Bragging Rights, CKY, Stitched Up Heart, Slaves, Dayshell, Tear Out the Heart, Ghost Town, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hit the Lights, A War Within, and Lionize. Since 2015 the band has had two releases, the ‘Sleep Tight EP’ (Fall 2015), and their debut full length ‘Sleep Tight, When You Wake Up We’ll Be Gone’ (Summer 2016). Both releases capture precisely where the band’s career was at the time. However, they are always progressing and are currently working on perfecting their next release.
The Few. is Dom Goszewski (vocals), Tory Oberreither (bass), Roger Thomas (drums), Dan Bell (guitar), and Mike Miller (guitar). They have toured more than half of the U.S. always exploring their current creative chapter as artists, as well as growing their following and looking toward what lies ahead.
Although the group officially began in 2013 their origins were much earlier. Originally stemming from the two founding members Goszewski & Oberreither who met in 2007 while attending public school. Their shared dream led them to meet drummer Thomas in 2013 who they toured with before the addition of Bell and Miller in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Their debut full length was recorded at Driftwood Studios (Minneapolis, MN) by engineer Timothy Kosel (Vaudeville) in December 2014. And after much delay and anticipation it was finally released June 10th, 2016 and is available both physically and through digital download or online streaming service.
